Using Mountain Lounge

So whats the big idea??

Mountain Lounge is new and here for you to use (and not abuse!). It gives you a chance to show everybody you doing your stuff. If youve got a few minutes to kill, are bored at work, just sign up and get browsing.

Its not trying to be another Facebook (who wants to be endlessly poked or bitten by zombies anyway??). Were just a little sounding board for you to show other like-minded loons, who get off on throwing themselves down a mountain, what youve been up to.

Upload videos of yourself biking, skiing, boarding, pretty much whatever you get up to (but no-one wants to see you copying Pam and Tommy!!!) Send us your youtube or Google videos and link em up on our site or if you see something that made you chuckle on youtube, you can post that up too and spread the laughter.

Pictures are even easier. Just upload a pic from your PC and show yourself off

Its easy to follow the instructions but as were only very young and Mountain Lounge is just taking its first steps, if you see anything you think we could improve, just contact us here (link to contact us) and let us know.

Unregistered Users (without a Mountain Lounge account)
Anyone who visits our website is welcome to browse the Photos, Videos and Blogs posted on the Mountain Lounge Network. The content is updated by our users on a regular basis, so if you like what you see be sure to re-visit the site. Better still, create a Mountain Lounge account and join in the fun!

Registered Users (with a Mountain Lounge account)
Creating a Mountain Lounge user account is quick and easy. All you need is an email address. Registered users can post Videos and Photos to the network and comment on and rate other peoples Photos, Videos and Blogs. Registered users will not receive any unsolicited email to their email address.

Creating a Profile
After you create a Mountain Lounge network account, and in order to appear and become active in the network, you must create a Mountain Lounge user profile, with a minimum or required information. Profiles can be seen by all website users, but your email address and account information will always be kept secret.

You can use your user profile to record and display your Loves, Hates, Guilty Pleasures and any additional information about yourself. Your user profile will always be associated with any Photo and Videos you post to the network and any comments you add to other people's posts.

Posting Photos
You can upload your own Photos to the Mountain Lounge network. Give the Photo a title so we know what it's about and add an optional description if you think it needs explanation! All Photos must comply with our Terms of Use.

Posting Videos
You can post Videos to the Mountain Lounge network from the popular Video websites YouTube and Google Video. All you need is the web address of your Video. If you have an account with YouTube or Google Video you can upload your own Videos to these sites and then post them on the Mountain Lounge network.

Commenting and Rating
You can comment on and rate other peoples Photos, Videos and Blog Posts. Comments can be seen by all users of the website. You can edit and delete your comments after they have been added.

Reporting Content
You can report to the Mountain Lounge network administrators any Photo, Video or Blog post that you feel is inappropriate, offensive or violates our Terms of Use. You will then be informed of any action taken.
